1. Acceptance

By accessing designengineers.org, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. Service Description

designengineers.org is an independent index of software design engineering jobs, people, and resources. Listings include public hiring posts and employer-submitted roles. We link to original sources and do not collect applications or resumes.

3. Paid Job Listings

Employers may purchase job listings to promote software design engineer roles.

• • Standard — $249 founding rate ($299 standard) for 30 days. Includes a logo, role details, and an application link.
• • Featured — $399 founding rate ($449 standard) for 30 days. Adds pinned position and highlight styling.

Listings are one-time purchases. Payment is processed by Stripe. Applicable taxes may apply based on your location. The digest is not yet available and is not included in the current offer.

4. Review & Moderation

All paid listings are reviewed before publishing. Payment does not guarantee publication. We may reject or edit submissions that are out of scope (non-software roles, incomplete info, misleading content). If we reject a listing, you'll receive a full refund.

Listing duration begins when the listing goes live, not when payment is received.

5. Employer Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your listing (company name, role title, location, apply URL). We link to your destination — we don't host applications or verify job legitimacy beyond basic review. The index also links to public hiring posts and employer job boards. A link does not imply a partnership with the employer or author.

6. Refunds

If we reject your listing before it goes live (e.g. out of scope for software design engineering), you receive a full refund. Once a listing is published, no refunds are available. Refunds are processed via Stripe to the original payment method.

7. People Directory

The directory references public professional information and work. Inclusion does not imply endorsement, membership, or availability for hire. When you submit your own profile, you authorize us to display the information you provide. Nominating someone else does not establish their consent. You may request a correction or removal at contact@hsla0001.com.

8. User Conduct

Don't abuse the service: no scraping for commercial purposes, no submitting fraudulent listings, no impersonating others. We may block access for violations.

9. External Links

We link to X posts, employer job boards, and external resources. We're not responsible for the content or availability of those external sites. X content is governed by X's terms.

10. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is." We don't guarantee job availability, accuracy of listings, or hiring outcomes. We're a pointer to opportunities, not an employment agency.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
